ARE THERE MUSLIM SAMARITANS?
Uwe Siemon-Netto writes about one of the controversies in the Muslim world (and outside it, too). Muslims tend to reserve charity for Muslims only. Thus a wealthy nation such as Saudi Arabia offers only $10 million for the Asian relief effort.

What Dr Siemon-Netto fails to mention is that one of the hardest hit countries in the recent disaster is also one of the largest Muslim countries in the world -- Indonesia. Yet, the greatest response to the disaster is coming from the non-Muslim world.
