MAJORDOMO GONE WACKO
Somebody put me a on majordomo list that sent out Christian spam asking people to volunteer for some kind of ministry to China. That was bad enough but they didn't know what they were doing when they set-up the list. Every time someone replies to the email generated by the list it sends out an email to everyone on it. So the complaints to the original sender are now going to everyone. After about six of these emails I sent a message to the list suggesting that it would work better if people didn't reply because that was compounding the problem. Of course, quite a few people didn't pay attention. Others who don't understand the system (or are careless in reading their mail) now think that I'm the one who is sending out the originals and all of these pieces of junk. The problem is further compounded by a bunch of auto-responders in the system AND it appears that there is also a majordomo glitch which is looping a bunch of blank emails through the system WITH MY RETURN ADDRESS. Please don't write me to tell me to stop sending them. They aren't coming from me! What is the emoticon for tearing your hair out?
