TERRI SCHIAVO
Is it morally justified to "use force" to save Terri Schiavo from starvation? (Even those who believe in capital punishment would see death by starvation as cruel and unusual punishment and thus an inappropriate form of execution). Some activists are now encouraging such a radical response. Meanwhile, the fight continues on several legislative and judicial fronts.

More violence is not an appropriate response to this violence. But there are people who would not hesitate to take up arms against Michael Schiavo. This is a tragedy on many many levels.
