+ Happy St Patrick's Day

+ Last night at music practice Dan introduced us to a delightful rendering of Psalm 84 set to a Celtic tune -- How Lovely Is Thy Dwelling Place. It comes from the Northumbria Community (not quite Irish but Celtic enough). MP3 version can be downloaded from their download page.

+ Lloyd Ahlem is taking a stab at blogging. He is still trying to figure out the AOL format but once he gets going it will be good. A couple of days ago I happened upon a magazine column in my files that Lloyd had written in the 80's; so he is an old hand at this stuff.

+ California State University Stanislaus, the school a block south of our church building, has a new president.

+ Kirk found out today that he has a job for next year. He is going to be an RA (resident adivsor) in one of the housing units. That answers a lot of financial questions for his fourth year at UCSD. He also has a job as a campus guide.
