WEDNESDAY'S COLLECTION
+ The story of St Patrick -- Happy St Patrick's Day tomorrow.

+ Diet Pepsi has edged out Pepsi as the company's primary product.

+ Are Democrats serious about making abortion "rare"?

+ Focus on the Family is claiming a victory in the SpongeBob SquarePants fiasco.

+ My friend and pastoral colleague Rick Lindholtz has started blogging.

+ Contrary to the rumor mill, Jon Heder, star of Napoleon Dynamite, is still very alive and well. That he was killed in an auto accident is an internet perpetuated myth. I heard it twice today. My confirmation class of junior high students seemed sure that it was true. Then tonight I heard the same rumor from some otherwise reliable high school students.

+ John Maddex, one of the mainstays at the Moody Broadcasting Network, has some thoughts on George Barna's report on the influence of Christian media. (John is also the driving force behind Ancient Faith Radio, the start-up which has quickly become one of my favorite online stations -- even to the point where I made a small financial contribution -- another first!)
