Vacation Bible School

ONE OF THE MANY THINGS that I like about our church is that much of the spiritual formation takes place in a multi-generational context. Yes we have children's and youth programs but the programs function secondarily to what takes place as young and old work and worship side-by-side. A prime example was the Vacation Bible School preparation this morning. (Our VBS for children age 4-sixth grade starts tomorrow, Sunday evening, July 24th, and runs through Thursday evening, July 28th -- 5:30 - 8 p.m. -- welcome!)

Here are a few pictures of people "working" this morning. I should mention, too, that some of our props have come from other churches which have done the same VBS, only earlier this summer. Thank you Sunrise Christian Church and Modesto Covenant Church!
