MY OLD SPACESUIT
I've been wondering what to do with my old outdated spacesuit. The guys up on the Space Station have an idea -- SuitSat. On February 3rd they're going to launch into orbit an old Russian spacesuit equipped with a radio transmitter. They want to see how long it will last and how effective the radio signal will be. Theoretically, anyone with a police scanner and a big antenna should be able to pick up the signal.

It's amazing to what lengths people will go so they don't have to take their old stuff to the Goodwill. (Of course, the Goodwill has become so selective these days that they probably wouldn't take it anyway.)
