ONLINE REFERENCE FORM
Pastors end up writing a lot of reference letters or filling out reference forms for people -- usually students applying for colleges, camp staffs, or scholarships. Today I experienced a first. One of our students has applied to attend Covenant Bible College. I received email from the school directing me to an online form, which I filled out. It took less than five minutes and I didn't have to deal with any paper. I didn't have to worry about losing the envelope on my desk or getting the letter into the mail. I filled out the form online and CBC had their information in less than three hours after they had emailed me. It's not a complicated thing to set-up an online form but so far in my experience no other admissions office has thought that far out of the box.
