We have applied to our accrediting agency for permission to begin offering master of divinity (MDiv) and master of arts in religion (MAR) degrees at PIBC.

This is the first step in the planned acquisition of Hawai'i Theological Seminary. If approved we will be offering the curriculum they have developed and then we will absorb their students into our new programs. That would be followed up with a legal merger.

We were not planning to move this direction so quickly but the situation at HiTS presented us with an opportunity to step in and help out.
