• The "do-good desires" of "Gen Y" have created a surge in nonprofit management and leadership courses at colleges and universities. Finally, someone will know what they're doing! ~ link

• The power grid isn't designed to handle green electricity -- could be a big problem with the growth of solar and wind generation. Or it could just be a king trying to protect his throne. I don't know. One minute they're telling you that we can't possibly produce enough in conventional ways -- "we need alternatives". In the next they're telling us that nothing but conventional produced electricity works in the existing power lines. This is the kind of thing which makes one think that it might just be best to totally skip the grid -- maybe go with the neighborhood nuke plant mentioned yesterday. ~ link
