The crazy thing is that they'll go right back in and rebuild all of those houses in Southern California utilizing wooden construction. One thing Guam has done well is learn from the frequent tropical storm disasters. It's all concrete block and even slab ceilings/roofs. And there is hardly ever a house fire on Guam because we're living in concrete bunkers -- cozy comfortable concrete bunkers.

Is anyone else having trouble with the bookmarks in the Firefox browser? My bookmarks seem unstable and close up before I can use them.

this kind of practice makes me crazy whether it's SoCal for fires or Miami for hurricanes. i wonder how much of our tax money goes to relief, insurance, etc for these kinds of preventable disasters?
