On behalf of all of us who live in the desert and/or
the tropics, every year I have been noting
the significance of November 26th.
For it was on this day in 1876 that
Willis Carrier, the inventory of
modern air conditioning, was born in
Angola, New York. He died, a cool man, in 1950.
