I really don't know how he does these lectures. It's like he gets on autopilot and in spite of obvious fatigue and dryness from the desert air -- he lands the plane well. Much to chew on in here. Who else can get away with talking about sacraments in North Phoenix Baptist Church -- a Southern Baptist flagship?

N.T. Wright lecture
The N.T. Wright lecture I attended a few weeks ago is now online. I was a bit taken back by the size of the crowd. I suspect Bishop Wright was, too. There must have been 1,500 people there.
I really don't know how he does these lectures. It's like he gets on autopilot and in spite of obvious fatigue and dryness from the desert air -- he lands the plane well. Much to chew on in here. Who else can get away with talking about sacraments in North Phoenix Baptist Church -- a Southern Baptist flagship?
