Bicycles make the road safer -- for cars

Root Beer and I out making the streets safer this morning.

New studies are showing a correlation between the number of bicycles on the road and traffic safety -- not just for the bike riders but also for the cars. And the difference is significant. If this doesn't motivate us to install more protected bike lanes we're guilty of collective nonfeasance.
