MISSION SPRINGS
The "affinity retreat" that I attended at Mission Springs was really well done -- refreshing and stimulating. Thanks to Doug Stevens and Evelyn Johnson.

Since I was in the neighborhood I dropped in at the Conciliar Press bookstore in Ben Lomond (not every Christian bookstore carries stocks titles like the Selected Writings of St. John Cassian the Roman which I bought) and while there met Fr. Thomas Zell. He just learned that he's moving to Modesto (15 minutes north of Turlock) to become the pastor of the St. James Orthodox Mission. Welcome to the community!
