FURTHER ANGLICAN SPLINTERING
(Sunday) The largest Anglican body in the world, the Anglican Church of Nigeria, still fuming over the ordination of a homosexual bishop in the Episcopal Church USA, has announced that it will be starting a US branch -- the "Church of Nigeria in the U.S." The Nigerian leadership has told Nigerian Anglicans in the US to leave the Episcopal Church. This is the second incursion into territory assumed to belong to the Episcopal Church. In 2000 the Anglican provinces of Rwanda and Singapore formed the Anglican Mission in America.
