IMPULSE BUYS
While in the grocery store I made two impulse buys -- the first was an orange. We're still about two months out from orange season but it has been so long since I've had one that I splurged and spent the 45 cents. The taste was there but it was a bit pulpy -- still a taste of good things to come.

The second impulse was a tin of liquorice flavored Altoid mints. This is a new product to me. Yes, they are good. No, they don't turn your tongue black. And unlike oranges I assume they will be in season year-round.
