IS BUSH WIRED?
There is speculation that President Bush is using a small radio receiver in his ear and is being fed audio prompts during his speeches. The president is known for his folksy style but not for being articulate. He might benefit from such a device. Still it would be an embarrassment -- even though we know he doesn't actually write his own speeches (few presidents have done so). The fact is that he is a weak communicator and I cringe every time I have to listen to him. Of course, I suspect that some people cringe when they have to listen to me on Sunday mornings -- those who aren't dosing. However, I do not have an audio prompter in my ear. I can't even get the wireless microphone to work consistently. I would be totally distracted if I had to manage another device.
