THE VALUE OF A DEGREE
The value of my undergraduate degree from Arizona State University went up over night as ASU got its first-ever Nobel prize winner. Edward Prescott will share the prize with fellow economist Finn E. Kydland, of Norway.
Of course, Prof. Prescott wasn't at ASU when I was there. And he wasn't there when he and Kydland developed their theory on business cycles in the economy. And I never took economics. But no one has to know all that.
I wonder when they're going to start giving out Nobel prizes in communication theory. That's when ASU will really clean-up.
