ORTHODOX THEOLOGICAL INFLUENCE
Much has been made about the steady stream of Protestants moving into the Eastern Orthodox Church. People are tired of worship fads, ever-shifting theology, and our lack of historical connectedness. What isn't getting as much attention is the fact that Eastern Orthodox theologians are also having an impact on Protestant theology. Mystery is once again an acceptable theological term. The Holy Trinity has more than a paragraph in newer theology books. We're even reading the Church Fathers again. And according to Jason Byassee, writing in the Christian Century, the Orthodox are to blame.
