THURSDAY'S COLLECTION
+ Gmail has quietly added a second gigabyte of free storage to their system -- with a promise of more.

+ Pope John Paul II has experienced heart failure and is reportedly close to death. You don't have to be Roman Catholic to acknowledge that he has been one of the greatest, most brilliant, and influential popes in history. The fall of the communist block was largely due to his quiet, persistent, and firm leadership.

I should hope that people won't get depressed when he goes. He has run the race rather well and is now crossing the finish line, to borrow the metaphor of the Apostle Paul. Time to celebrate!
