WHERE'S MAMA?
The mourning dove nest on our back patio has two babies hatched today. But the mama seems to be nowhere in sight.

Things are looking better is the rest of the yard. Yesterday I pruned the live oaks and had to actually climb one because a limb off the branch I cut had grown into the tree higher up. That is it grafted itself into another part of the tree so I couldn't get the branch loose.

The apricot crop in the backyard looks like it will be modest. The cherry tree has more fruit than ever before. And the citrus trees are all in bloom. One orange tree in particular looks like it is going to be heavy. The tomatoes all survived our week away and the guava tree is looking great.
