TUESDAY
+ I'm flying to Chicago this morning.

+ UPDATE: Travel was uneventful -- except for the plane pulling up to the terminal at Chicago Midway -- and the electricity in the airport went off at the exact time we arrived. In other words, the docking doors wouldn't work. So we sat in the plane for an extra 10 minutes waiting for the system to return to normal. No biggie.

+ My $55/night hotwire.com 4-star suite at the Renaissance Suites Chicago O'Hare is incredible. The regular rate on this room with the AAA discount is $199/night. Free wireless connection in the lobby. $10/day in the room. I'm sitting in the lobby.

+ Frederica Mathewes-Green, one of my favorite Eastern Orthodox writers, is interviewed in the Dallas Morning News.

+ Tiny Houses. Just how much space do we really need?
