Comments spam
I've been getting so much spam in the comments section recently that I have activated a blogger feature that requires "word verification" to leave comments. It's just one more step but it should cut down on the automated trash that people leave in the comments boxes. I'm sure it won't eliminate all spam but it makes it more time consuming (and thus not as attractive) for spammers to mark the tree.

brad, i just had to do the same thing. sad. someone pointed out to me that it makes it difficult for handicapped folks to leave comments. perhaps blogger will be able to fix this.
I'd like to see them come up with a moderated system.
