Thursday Roundup

BABY AARDVARK
Born September 9th at the zoo in Omaha. This thing is so ugly that it is cute.

AFRICA'S CHURCHES
They are changing Christianity.

BOOTY DISCOVERED
A robot designed by a Chilean company has discovered booty from the Spanish colonial era on a remote Pacific island named after Robinson Crusoe -- estimated 600 barrels of gold coins and Incan jewels -- perhaps valued at about $10 billion (US). Now there is going to be a big long hairy argument over whether the salvage company or the government owns it.

$100 LAPTOP
More on the $100 laptops which are designed for children -- especially those in developing countries.

THE LATEST
And definitely a great idea -- a cellphone booth.

IT'S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR AGAIN
Fire season in Southern California. And it's hot down there today.
