TO SAN DIEGO AND BACK
Yesterday afternoon we drove Kirk back down to San Diego (classes started again today). We spent the night in Oceanside and then on the way back north had lunch with Kent and his UCI roommate.

It was hard to come home. Not only was the weather beautiful (clear and warm all across SoCal -- it was depressing coming down off the Grapevine into the Central Valley -- cloudy -- coolish) but we also had some great food from hole-in-the-wall places. In San Diego we had Chinese food at the Dumpling Inn on Convoy. Then today in Newport Beach we returned to the Thai Del Mar on the PCH. Incredible weather. Incredible eatin'.
