YAHOO MESSENGER TRANSLATOR
There is now a translating proxy available for Yahoo Messenger. So, for example, I could type a message in English but my French speaking friend would receive it in his language. It does:
English -> German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese
German -> English, French
Spanish -> English
French -> English, German
Italian -> English
Portuguese -> English

Frankly, while it might be fun to play with I wouldn't trust it. Translation software has improved over the last few years but it still has a long way to go if we're going to keep from embarrassing ourselves.

There is no indication that it can translate NetLingo to any language. But YNK.
