FREE PANCAKES ON TUESDAY
IHOP is celebrating National Pancake Day this Tuesday by serving a free short stack of pancakes to each of their guests. Tuesday, not coincidently, is also Shrove Tuesday -- the last day before Lent. Pancakes are associated with the day because in many Christian traditions milk and eggs are on the fast list during Lent. And pancakes are a good way to clean the milk and eggs out of the frig -- unless, of course, you get your pancakes at IHOP. Maybe you could have scrambled eggs when you get home from the restaurant.
