STRANGE MATCHES
I heard an ad for DemocraticMatch.com today and thought the idea rather peculiar -- not just that one might look for a mate online but that one would use a political party as a compatibility criteria. Cheryl and I have never been members of the same political party and we get along quite well. We may cancel out each other's votes but that doesn't affect compatibility.

Out of curiosity I looked and there is also a RepublicanMatch.com. Both sites are pretty cheesey. It wouldn't surprise me if they were owned by the same person.
