The big turn-off
TV turn-off week is coming April 24-30. Personally I won't be turning it off -- because I rarely turn it on. And if I do it is for a reason. Douglas Groothuis is big on the idea, though. Actually every week is TV turn-off week for him. I understand that he has one of the pocket TV-zappers and whenever he walks into a room with a television he zaps it off. I'm sure the guys at Best Buy and Circuit City lock the doors when they see him coming. Such power!
