I agree, it is a great book -- although it works a little too hard at being a work of art -- "a story" -- which most people would consider to be one of its strengths. Personally, I'd rather have the doctor tell me straight away what's wrong than have him weave an elaborate story to make the point. Walsh and Keesmaat do the latter -- and they do it well.
