Life without church
A new Barna study reveals that 76 million American adults are regularly absent from any kind of church activity. That is, "one-third of the adult population (34%) has not attended any type of church service or activity, other than a special event such as a funeral or wedding, during the past six months."

I don't believe it. From out here in the trenches my sense is that perhaps a third HAVE participated in some kind of church activity in the past six months. I suspect that there are a lot of survey respondents who are exaggerating their commitment.
