The sky is falling
A 200-pound chunk of clear ice fell into an Oakland park last Saturday. And that's not the only such incident. Scientists don't know the source of the falling ice. (via)

Even though none of the experts have mentioned this possibility, I think the most likely explanation is that the ice is falling off alien spacecrafts upon entry to the earth's atmosphere, after they've gone through a time warp.
