...Who needs a noisy electric shredder when you've got these? Thanks to the Japanese.

...Cheryl and I are in Chicago for a few days for Covenant missionary training. We're with an impressive group of people -- mostly in their early to mid-20's -- heading out to various mission projects around the world.

...The man sitting by us on our Southwest flight from Oakland to Chicago actually ate the Fig Newton cookies in the snack-pack. A first.

...Church website of the week -- Eastside Covenant Church Tucson -- a congregation in the process of rebirth -- under the steady hand of Pastor Dan Johnson.

...I've been able to take in a few chapters of N.T. Wright's new book Simply ChristianEarthquake map. This is what Mere Christianity would have looked liked if C.S. Lewis was addressing a postmodern -- post-Christian audience. I predict that Simply Christian will become a classic alongside Mere Christianity.

...I don't want to see the most popular tags of the day. I just want the cloud of tags that used to come up with MyWeb. It's frustrating when they "improve" things and in doing so disable or make it harder to use the function which first attracted you to the application.
