...Because of the Brown Tree snakes the other-than-chickens bird population on Guam is really small. You can go for days without seeing a bird. Since we're staying next to the University of Guam for a few weeks we've been doing our morning walks on campus. And we've noticed that they have lots of birds. I wonder if they're using the campus to test some kind of secret weapon that kills off all the snakes.
...I had the Spam, eggs, and rice breakfast at McDonald's this morning -- just for the experience. So now I can say, been there, done that.
...Dave and Joyce Owen have become grandparents.
