...Spotted in the frontyard yesterday morning -- a White-browed crake (Bako). This rail walks like a cat on the hunt -- very slowly and decisively. There aren't too many birds on Guam but those which have survived the Brown Tree Snake invasion are really interesting.

...College tuition and fees are up 6.3% for the 2006-07 academic year. With an adjustment for inflation, prices rose just 2.4% -- the smallest jump in six years.

Those of us who are more synergistic in our understanding of how God's salvation works have been waiting for something like this for a long time.
