...We signed the escrow papers on the condo this morning and got the keys this evening. We even moved a few things in -- mostly painting supplies. We've got a lot of painting to do before we move in.

...This evening we had the first session of the Winter Alpha course at the Lutheran Church of Guam. Cheryl and I are group leaders. And we had a great group -- mostly military people and families. There's room for more!

...Actress Yvonne De Carlo, star of The Munsters, a corny television spoof on horror movies, which I really enjoyed as a child and which I still think is funny, has died at the age of 84. The longer I'm around the more I value the people who make us laugh.

...Psychoactive drugs for pets? It's a trend. Now, if they would only develop a drug to keep them from shedding all over the couch.

...South African Theological Seminary, which has one of the most bang-for-your buck (or Rand) online seminary programs, is preparing to offer research doctorates. It sounds like they're getting closer since they're advertising for two "full-time senior academics, whose primary function will be to supervise postgraduate students in the writing of theses or dissertations." SATS is a quality operation and I really want to see them move forward with this.

...Linksys' parent company Cisco is seeking a court injunction against Apple over the iPhone trademark. This is certainly not a surprise to Apple. I wonder what their strategy is. From a cursory assessment it looks like Cisco has a pretty ironclad case. But Apple knew that when they announced the launch of their iPhone. Anyone care to speculate on what Apple is up to?
