Good listening
A few weeks ago I broke down and bought an inexpensive iPod Shuffle. (I'm not an early adopter of everything but now that the price is so low -- $79 everywhere but Guam, where they cost $95 for a miniature 1 gig unit.) This little smaller-than-a-matchbook mp3 player kept me from going crazy when I was traveling last week. I was able to listen to the entire Space, Time, and Sacraments presentation that N.T. Wright did for Calvin College. I also squeezed in one of Steve Bilynskyj's recent sermons. Thank God for the intellectuals who keep our minds from turning to mush -- even on long trips. And thank God for my little green clip-on mp3 player.
