~ Tim & Melody Plaxton, who are scheduled to join our PIBC staff in August, have found a buyer for their California house and it is now in escrow. PTL! However, it sounds like she's going to have to have her gall bladder removed before she comes. Ouch!
~ John Michael Talbot is releasing his 50th album this summer.
~ Salon has an article on the best and worst airports in the world. Singapore tops the best list. I can't say that it's the best in the world. But it's the best and most interesting that I've ever been to.
~ The pope has given a green light to the wide scale use of the old Latin mass. There are always going to be a few people who believe that God prefers Latin -- just as there are some who believe that he favors 17th century English. Which language would Jesus have used?
~ The Mormons have sent out their one millionth missionary. They may be theologically mistaken but at least they're keeping the bicycle industry going and providing a market for the makers of white shirts and dark ties (now that Joe Friday and IBM have more or less all given that up).
