This is the big difference between American patriotism and Canadian patriotism. As Americans we wouldn't have been so gracious as to say "one of the best..."
Of course, there is some talk of a Canadian conspiracy to take over the US. Apparently the Bush administration thinks that there might be something to it because the US has tightened up the borders and is implementing a policy requiring passports to cross over.
