More Random

~ I've enjoyed listening to 96five streaming radio from Brisbane, Australia recently. They do what a lot of contemporary Christian music stations in the US originally dreamed of doing but for some reason never quite made it happen -- that is, they mix secular pop with contemporary Christian music.

~ The Anglican Mission in the Americas (AMiA) has a new website.

~ The Phoenix collision of two news copters covering a police chase -- sad, too risky of a practice.

~ Ferris Wheels are getting bigger and bigger and are turning into big bucks attractions. When I was in Singapore I saw the Singapore Flyer, 541-foot ferris wheel under construction. It's humongous and very visible. Incredible sight and I'm sure it will be an incredible ride when it's done next year.

~ Guam tourism is up but the number of Japanese visitors is down. Competition.

~ Transferring credits from Hamburger University. Yes, it's possible.

~ Toyota unveils a "plug-in" hybrid Prius. One more way to do hybrid.
