~ True Cubs fans knew it was coming. Besides, if the Cubs ever went all the way and won it, Chicago would go postal and the President would have to send troops in to re-establish order. None of the major companies headquartered there would get any work done for months and the global economy would tank. So it's probably all for the best. The sacrifice of the victimized fans is duly noted -- and on behalf of a grateful nation...

Yeah, it's tough to admit it after years in the midwest. I attribute the attitude to the "just-don'g-get-it" factor, even though many Californians and west-caosters come to Chicago, they quickly conform. Oh well!
