Coup de tat on Guam

There was a bloodless (so far) coup in the Guam legislature early this morning. The Democrats, weary of the Republicans' ridiculous attempts to hold onto parliamentary power, in spite of the fact that the Republicans are now the minority party, took advantage of a recess in proceedings to seat their own leadership. -- Link

This kind of stuff shows why the government is so screwed up on Guam. Perhaps it's time for President Bush to send in the troops to restore create order. There is too much at stake here to let things continue like this. At the very least there is no way that a single one of these turkeys -- whether Democrat or Republican -- should ever be re-elected.
