cloth bagsAbout those plastic-replacing cloth grocery bags that were selling like hotcakes six weeks ago -- you know, the green ones of which Payless Market sold out -- the bags which were going to at least slowdown the monster pile at the Guam landfill -- where are they? Since those things went on sale I have only seen two customers bring them back to the store to reuse. They've now got more cloth bags in stock -- but what's the point if people don't use them?

Let them eat margarine -- or better yet I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! Actually, in all seriousness, the problem isn't really about butter but global food access.
