• There are currently four active tropical storms in the world (very unusual) -- Western Pacific: Tropical Storm Neoguri -- Indian Ocean: Tropical Cyclone Rosie, Tropical Cyclone Durga, Tropical Cyclone Nargis. ~ Link
• There is currently a strong storm cell south of us between Chuuk and Yap that looks like it could eventually spin tropical -- but if that does happen (20% chance?) it wouldn't be in a good position to move north to Guam. My point is that it does appear that we're slowly starting to shift into the typhoon season weather pattern in the Western Pacific.
