The anime contact lenses are creepy.
You mention still trying to figure out the anime thing.
Okay, I've seen a handful of anime stories that I thought were good, but that had nothing to do with the style, but simply good story telling.
I've tried, but I simply can't get into the style. I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the recent DVD release of Batman Gotham Knights, which I made the mistake of paying for. This was supposed to be bridge stories between the first and second movies (it really wasn't too closely connected). The entire thing was done in anime. Horrible in my opinion. I really think I could have enjoyed it more if it had been animated in a different style.
