Nouveau University logo• Laura Palmer Noone, former president of the University of Phoenix (the world's largest private university) has been lured out of retirement to head up the fledgling Nouveau University, a private online school which focuses on training entrepreneurs and small business professionals. Nouveau offers associate of science and bachelor of business administration degrees in accounting, finance, marketing, real estate invesment, and small business management. They are based in Scotsdale, Arizona. ~ link

• Very strange -- and tragic. A man from Inarajan, a village on the southeast end of Guam, has died after being dragged by a carabao. I didn't know that carabao could move much faster than a snail. ~ link
