No on A again

We received a booklet from the Guam Election Commission on the upcoming Proposal A -- "The Responsible Gaming Act." In the past I've opposed gaming as a short-cut to genuine economic development -- too many problems associated with it -- just not a healthy thing for communities on so many levels. But after reading the info by both sides on this proposal I decided that it was one of the most ridiculous poorly written proposals I've ever seen. Even if I was pro-gambling I'd vote against this specious loop-hole laden legislation which is written in such a way as to give Guam Greyhound Park a de facto monopoly on casino gambling. Time to vote NO on gambling -- again. The nerve.
