THE BUSH TAPES
I'm not a big George Bush fan but I'm feeling that he has been shafted by Doug Wead, a "friend," who secretly recorded personal conversations with Bush without his knowledge. And now he is playing them for the media. Talk about a disloyal slimy thing to do! Is there no honor? Wead owes the president and everyone else a major apology.

The president has a history of saying dumb things -- especially when he doesn't realize the mic is live. In this case, though, it doesn't sound like he did any damage to himself. This is fortunate for everyone.
