FREEZING IN GUAM
Since we're working toward a move to Guam I've been watching the weather reports. Those poor souls out there must be freezing today (which is really Saturday -- they are 18 hours ahead of Pacific Time -- Guam is "Where America's Day Begins") because the high is only supposed to be 75 degrees. That is the lowest high I've seen in the time I've been watching. Usually the high seems to be right around 88 degrees. The low today is a freezing 73 degrees. Sometimes the low doesn't even drop into the 70's. The humidity remains a steady 90% -- which is not desert weather -- but it's not unbearable either -- especially when there is a breeze -- and you have air conditioning inside.

We were told that January is one of the most pleasant months on the Island.
